History

DOMAINE FONTAVIN is the culmination of a beautiful history woven over the centuries, in Courthézon in the southern Rhône Valley.

Michel and Martine Chouvet, both from winegrowing families, dreamed of freedom in the 80s. They set up their own winery and became independent winegrowers: Domaine FONTAVIN was born.

Hélène Chouvet Coton, their oenologist daughter, decided to join them in 1996.

Ambitious yet measured, vibrant yet humble, Hélène creates a unique signature: lively, fresh wines in which the terroir whispers its secrets.
