My grandmother's Meringues
Ingredients :
70 g sugar per egg white
maximum 5 egg whites at a time
Operating mode :
Beat egg whites with an electric whisk
Add the sugar in rain when the whites are still soft
Continue beating until the mixture thickens and "mother-of-pearl".
Make small piles with a teaspoon on a cold plate and NOT buttered
Put in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 160 to 180°C. Remove from the oven as soon as it is cooked.
